Overview

Our highly experienced orofacial pain specialist has over 20 years of experience dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of complex pain conditions of the jaw, mouth, and face, such as temporomandibular disorders (TMD or TMJ) and atypical facial pain. Our dedicated team coordinates with primary care, physical therapy, neurology, headache and pain medicine, psychology, and other relevant healthcare providers to develop an individualized treatment program for each of our patients. Our team also spends a great amount of time educating and coaching patients to make the transition from pain and illness to health and well-being, and empower patients with self-management strategies to improve lifestyle, reduce risk factors, and implement protective actions to improve their quality of life and prevent chronic pain. Outside of the practice, our provider is very active in conducting research on TMD, facial pain, and systemic health to improve the understanding and treatment of orofacial pain.
