Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology

Overview

Our Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology specialists interpret radiographic images as well as the technique in acquiring images. Our specialists then utilize the radiographs to provide you with a diagnosis your can trust, followed by caring guidance in your treatment.

Effective April 1, 2025, the College of Dentistry does not have a board-certified OMF Radiologist available for interpretation of CBCT scans. A national search is currently underway for the hiring of a replacement.

Until a radiologist is hired, the College of Dentistry has contracted with BeamReaders for interpretation of all CBCT scans. Submission of CBCT scans captured within the College and distribution of reports will be handled by the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. No delays in interpretation report turnaround times are anticipated.
